OK, this is going to be a very short and sweet post because I wasn’t planning on sharing anything today, BUT…
I am a big fan of Pottery Barn. AKA I shop the sales wrack for bedding from time to time and dream of owning one of their couches. So, it was to my delight whilst scrolling mindlessly through my Facebook newsfeed when I stumbled upon the most amazing advertisement…
A couple of months ago, I began to flag the pages of books where a line or paragraph stood out to me.
So I thought it would be fun to take a look at all the quotes that have inspired me or were relatable or what have you throughout the course of my life thus far. Generally speaking, I think it takes a strong sense of hope and also talks of adventure for a quote to really capture my heart.
But mostly because we can’t get enough of great quotes – here are some of my favorites:
This is my first year ever to establish a goal for myself on how many books I can read. Since it is my first time to do this challenge (and I am a slow reader – I have no qualms about admitting that!) I decided to keep the number of books to read relatively small. 30 seemed like a good number to me.
So without further ado, how am I doing so far with my goal of reading 30 books this year?
This week was a freebie summer topic so I decided to go with my favorite books to read during the summer season (I apologize to everyone who lives somewhere where winter is happening at the moment. That must suck). My personal preference for a good summer read is a story that is light and whimsical and thus that summarizes my top ten choices.
