First of all, let me just say HI!! I know I was a bit M.I.A. last week, but work was a tad bit crazy to say the least and I just didn’t have any mental power left in me at the end of the day to work on any blog posts.

Buuuuut to welcome you all back, here is TOP TEN TUESDAY along with a new header that has been decorated for fall (if you’re looking directly at my blog and not through the reader) so hope you like it! Hope you guys didn’t miss me too much. I know it would be suuuper tough not to since I’m awesome ohohoho *hair toss*

Without further ado – cue the unnecessary intro to this post!

So I’m pretty sure most of the world agrees that fall is one of the best seasons EVER because the weather is just so nice and leaves are falling and all that jazz.

As the weather turns chilly, I really tend to pick up mysteries and fantasies. Which are already my two favorite genres so like… what’s changed? But in my defense, I just feel these are the best to read with a cup of hot chocolate and you’re snuggled up under blankets, possibly sitting next to a fire or something…. yeah. That hallmark moment.

Anyway, without any more blabbering on my part, these are the top ten books I plan to read this coming fall season (which I’m probably not even going to finish all of these, but oh well!).

My Bookmark Collection! (I May or May Not Have a Problem…)

So, I’ve got a lot of bookmarks.

And by a lot I mean a lot.

They’ve seen me through the highs and lows of the emotional roller coaster that a book can bring (if you look closely you’ll see dried tear drops on some #jokingbutnotjoking).

Let’s take a peek at these chums and appreciate their hard work (marking pages is grueling work)…

Goodreads Book Tag

I’ve become absolutely addicted to using Goodreads nowadays. Keeping track of my reading challenge and building my TBR is a lot of fun so I was super excited when I saw that the lovely Lauren @ My Paper Infinity tagged me in this!

Let’s get started!

Book Hype & the Fear of Missing Out

I’ve been reflecting a lot on my personal, intense desire to give into book hype and buy new releases.

It’s a common thing where we all encourage other avid readers to borrow from their local library when their pocket books become light, but even though I have a local library that has fantastic selection in terms of YA releases, I still choose to buy myself a brand spanking new hard cover to decorate my book shelf.
